Kongo Gumi — Founded in 578 AD in Japan, Kongo Gumi is the world’s oldest continuously operating company. It is a construction company that has been run by the same family for over 1,400 years.

Interesting Trivia, the company survived 2 atomic bombs, in 2006 the company became a part of the Takamatsu Construction Group on account of Financial Difficulties.

Stiftsbrauerei St. Peter — Founded in 1040 AD in Austria, Stiftsbrauerei St. Peter is one of the oldest breweries in the world. They have been brewing beer for over 980 years.

Interesting Trivia, The brewery uses water from its own well, which is fed by a nearby mountain spring, to brew its beers. Stiftsbrauerei St. Peter is still owned and operated by the Benedictine monks of St. Peter’s Abbey, who oversee every aspect of the brewing process.
