It’s Simple: Tell People Where To Find You.
Imagine you start a shop.
You invest loads of money into creating the interiors and making sure, airconditioning, electricals, etc are all in tremendous shape.
You make sure the merchandise which you stock in the shop is top-notch!
This shop is on a street where there is tremendous competition. All competitors have done the same thing as you have.
You open shop for the day, but you aren’t getting any customers. All the business is being scooped up by the shops which are at the start of the street.
What do you do?
You stand outside the street and start telling people walking towards the street about your store. Probably given them a discount or tell them something they want to hear.
Now let’s take this conversation online. You set up a website, You use all the relevant keywords which your competitors are using ( On-Page SEO ), you do all the necessary tech stuff to give your audience a pleasant experience (Tech SEO).
But you aren’t getting traffic. It is because your website is on a street called Google or Bing. There are many similar websites doing the same thing.
Which brings me to the subject of Off-Page SEO.
After the front end for your website is set up, 70% of the time must be building links for people to find your site.
Can’t say it enough :)
